INETI

INETI is one of the largest Portuguese Governmental Research Institutes and is hierarchically dependent both on the Ministry of Economy and Innovation and on the Ministry of Science, Technology and Universities.

The mission of INETI is dedicated to new fields of technological research, such as energy, materials and biotechnologies by also giving support to private companies and other commercial organizations. INETI participated already to several research projects funded by National and European programmes (Life04/env/it/409, Life03/env/P/00523, Life96env/P/00602/INDW)

Environment and the use of new renewable energies are some of the priority topics of INETI's research and demonstration activities including the study for a sustainable management of the agro-industrial waste.
